Anybody own an Engel Traveller? How would you rate this model? Any problems? Would you say is was a value for money buy, or is it better to spend $200-$300 more on a better spec model? Current price in Adelaide is $898(39 litre, which I think is the only size available in this model) including a transit bag.

Mickl,
Not sure, but I think main difference is it doesn't have 240v option.
Have heard of people buying MT45 on special now and then in Adelaide for
little more than your price (Excl. bag)

I have one and it has never given a seconds trouble. No 240v, but I don't need it anyway, and if I did I would get a transformer from somewhere and run it as 12 or 24 volts.
Solid and reliable. The guy at Engel told me they were the "truckies" fridge. Don't know any truckies, but mine has been thrashed and still goes.
JackNo trees were harmed in the making or sending of this message. However a
great number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
