User Treks Now Published

Hi all,

Following on from the major updates late last week and recovering from the number of bugs I created (which are now all solved - thanks to those people who told me). I have now migrated the PlotSwap system to a new thing called User Treks. This update has done away with PointPlace Credits and has made all the data available for free download to Members.

The User Treks system is available on the menu under Treks - this now has two options ExplorOz Treks and User Treks. Note also that all User Treks are shown on the persons My Profile page in their My User Treks section - you can see an example of this from My Profile (click the link in my forum signature that says My Profile) - you will see a map showing my EOTrackMe, My Places and My User Treks. Now if you go to the new User Treks page and open up the Members list and click on ExplorOz Team - David & Michelle you will see the same list.

Of course you can zoom in and click on the maps to find the data you are looking for and from any map on the system you can add the Treks layers by clicking on the Features option and look towards the bottom under the 'Linear Features' heading you will see ExplorOz Treks & User Treks. Turn these on and you can query the data from any map on the site. SO from say ExplorOz Treks (from the menu) you could go to Features and turn on User Treks this will show a map with both sets of data and allow you to click on trek lines to get all the details you need.
