We had a great time crossing the Simpson Desert, the wild flowers were fantastic.

Take a look at some of my images.

The next trip is well into the planning.

David,

Great photos, the Simpson Desert was fantastic this year, the best that I have seen it in the 16 crossing that I have done already.

I don't think I will see it like that again.

Hi David
It is great to see another side to the Desert that only mother nature can put on. Your pictures were great. We are off to Roxby Downs this weekend to try and photograph some of the 15 shades of colour for the Sturt Desert Pea which should be very interesting.

Cheers

Stephen

Hi David
Like every trip, the time went very quick. We did the Anne Beadell and found some great sights that not many people see out there. From there across the wet Simpson. We have been across the Simpson many times and wanted to compare what we had seen in the past and other peoples comments on just how green it was. To be honest we have seen it greener in 2003 but the best was the bird life and the amount of water out in the Simpson. Here are a couple of pictures from the Anne Beadell and the Simpson.

Cheers

Stephen

Hi John,

I have finally got into the digital age with a shoulder charge.
The main camera is a Canon 550D, back up is a Canon G10. Lenses are Sigma 18-50mm 2.8, Canon 28mm 2.8, Sigma 170-500mm 5-6.3.
We also use a GoPro HD for the video work.
