Hey all
Got a three week trip to tassie booked after xmas and wondered if anyone had a special spot off the well beaten tourist trail that they would go back to given a chance to visit the apple isle again or any must see destinations not well known even any nice well priced accomm that you would use again

cheers

Hi Ian

If we had stayed a few days longer, we would have gone down the Western Explorer. We didn't when doing our lap in 2006 as we were too long for the Pieman ferry hence would have had to do a loop back so it was left in the 'if there's time at the end' basket. We planned to climb Mt Roland (a great favourite of ours near Sheffield) on the last day, but is was all covered in mist. It will be hard to find anywhere to get away from it all at that time of year. I don't know about accommodation - we were towing ours.

Trial Harbor on the wild west. Great remote camping right next to the water and cliffs.

Sandy Cape, Mt McCall, Climes track & Mt Darwin were all good & barely saw another car at any of them. Would want to go well prepared though ;-)
Cheers Craig..........
