Hi Team
Can some kind soul let me know if fresh fruit/veges etc are available at
Laverton, or should we move on to
Leonora?
We will be coming in from the Anne Beadell H'Way and will be hanging out for fresh veges fruit etc.
Thanks as always.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, coming off the AB you will drive right past the Store, if you get to the Service Station you went past it by 150 metres. Its hit and miss what they will have in there, but definately worth a look, cheers, Kanga.

Hi
When we came through there, we got supplies at
Laverton, but on calling in at
Leonora felt would have been much better to restock there. As it is a Mining town I felt a certain amount of subsidy applies better selection and cheaper prices.
Need parts for
vehiclesand things the guys at
Laverton are pretty good.
Things fall off, get broke ,with the corrugations and the overgrowth on the A.B.
Have fun
Cheers
Russ

Our some was one of the cops in
Laverton many years ago.
When we visited him we took him out to dinner in the most expensive restaurant there, the sports club. It was $7 per head for a roast meal.
When he visited us in
Maroochydore I insisted he do the same and take us to the most expensive restaurant.
It was a good night out :-)
There are very basic shops in
Laverton a very basic
supermarket and some fast food
places etc.
