Hi fellow campers,
P.S. First time ExlorOz blogger !
Hubby and I and the pooch are planning a trip from
Melbourne to
Alice Springs and to include a visit to Uluru at the end of the year.
We are keen to hear from fellow campers and fellow dog lovers who have done this trip with their beloved pooch and we would love to hear of the pet friendly
camping spots particularly in and around
Alice Springs. We are self sufficient and enjoy
bush camping.
Look forward to hearing your suggestions.

The
Heritage Caravan
Park in
Alice Springs & the Ayers Rock Resort are both pet friendly.

Gary Stratton CP listing
Gary's site has an emphasis on dog friendly CPs. You have to register to use it, but that is quick to do and free.
Badger's CP reviews
Badger's is a site with contributions by users and i find very useful. Dog friendly parks are tagged if this is noted in the contributed report.
At
Alice Springs we chose the slightly antiquated Temple Bar CP because it was in a nice location a bit out of the town. It is pet friendly and
well as friendly in general. We did not like it at the
Heritage. See my reports on Badger's for further details.
We don't travel with our dog, but tend to support pet friendly parks where possible.
