I had this winch fitted to a 2002 GU patrol fitted with a Nissan bar. Now want to fit it to a 2006 100 series TD Cruiser fitted with an ARB winch bar. Looks like I will have to turn the winch around so the gearbox is on the LHS so the cable feeds over the top of the drum to get the cable spooling on in the right direction. The "toggle" lever ends up on the bottom. With the ARB
winches you can rotate the gearbox to get the lever in the right spot.
Does anyone know if you can do the same with the Ox & if so how do I do it.
Thanks in anticipation.

Not sure about Ox
winches but had to do exactly the same thing to my Magnum fitted to my 2005 100 series on a Toyota bar ie: "turn the winch around so the gearbox is on the LHS so the cable feeds over the top of the drum to get the cable spooling on in the right direction. The "toggle" lever ends up on the bottom"

Thanks Craig... rang TJM in Queensland today & they say you can remove the cap screws from the rear of the gearbox & rotate it. Will give it a go tomorrow & see what happens. I hope I don't end up with a heap of gears on the ground.....

I really didn't have much of a choice because of the design of the Toyota alloy winch bar. There is
no access to the top of the winch to get at and operate the toggle lever. As it is now I have to reach under the bar to access it. Not really a problem just one of those things you have to deal with.
