Hi all,

I have an Antennatek 300 antenna on my 2001 Boroma (caravan purchased second-hand last year). I don't seem to be able to tune in anything - perhaps one analogue channel sometimes. The antenna looks like it has seen better days...

The connection at the antenna and TV is OK. I can't get to the cabling or amplifier easily but power is getting to the amplifier.

Has anyone had experience with this antenna? It has never tuned in a digital channel.

I am contemplating removing the whole thing and getting something that works!

Thanks in anticipation......

Geoff

You may need a set top box to get the digital channels especially One HD for instance.

If it is like a Winegard it will be horizontal polarity only so wont get stations in places like Erldunda that have vertical polarity.

Check the amp is on or you wont get anything when tuning.

Or perhaps your TV is an old analogue one which will never get digital hence the STB.

More like TV than aerial but check connections dont have a short and that amplifier is actually working.

Hi Geofff, Had the same problem myself yesterday (Nov.23rd). Had a tv guy test it and the head at the top had failed. Just visiting the area so he gave me the name of a caravan spare parts shop who supplied me with a new head. (For $196.00). Retuned and now works great. Hope this helps.
