hey there, i m looking for a tyre monitor for the ute and trailer and heard that the tyredog are a pain when you are letting your tyres up and down regularly. Does anyone know a brand that is simple and easy to use

Its no harder than taking the dust cap off.
There are the staun ones that go inside the tyre but are a bugger to balance.
My Tyre dogs are about 4 years old and they are just as good as the day i fitted them.....I dont worry about the lock nut as I often need to air down, and they have not yet been knocked off.

I'll second the tyredogs, have been using them for years now.
Bought a set for use with the camper trailer that has the relay, you just need to make sure this is fitted up somewhere high so that it picks it up.
I too do not bother with the lock nuts as I have two set of wheels/tyres that I swap them between.
