Two years ago we sold our dingo ct on the EO Trader - just wondering if Mike who bought it still has it - and had as good a time as we did with it? Anyone know Mike and his wife - Dandenong Exhaust in Vic I think. Would be nice to get some feedback.

We had a dingo and also had a great time with it. Terrific space/value. BUT. (and, in fairness to Dingo, it may have changed since ours). We needed some work done on the canvas and took it to (several) canvas working shops. They all already knew about Dingo and said they wouldn't work on them. Reason? The canvas top is folded under the wooden base and secured with hundreds of staples. This makes the tops virtually impossible to temove from the base without lots of time and damage to the canvas. But I guess it saves lots of $ in the construction. Ifc later models have changed, that's good.

We had our dingo for ten years - never had an issue with the canvas, though I do know it was stapled to the base - it served us well, travelled well no matter where we went - roughest roads, sand, water - never a problem. Had a very "experienced" look when we sold it - impossible to get the red dust out of canvas, but we never got wet, stood up in almost cyclonic winds, at one time we had to get out at 2am and tie the awning to trees at Exmouth, pegs just kept pulling out of the sand.

Also the most comfortable bed ever. Felt very sad when we saw it driving down the road away from us, we had some great times with it.

Why not give them a call, i'm sure they wouldn't mind.
