Cozzie

1) Have you recently serviced the Rodeo, if so bo back over the fuel filter and lines, and check for loose fittings.

......I do all my servicing, and once got a dodgy fuel filter, which caused a similar problem.

2) Your injectors may bleeding

3) You may have got some dirty fuel.

4) Change garages/service centres. A propper diesel machanical workshop may be the go.

5) try increasing your idle 200 revs

As you can gather I am not a mechanic, but for what it's worth, this is where I would look.

The egr may have blocked up the inlet manifold. These are the first symptoms. Common on tritons, pajeros, hiluxes and most common rail motors with 80,000+km.
HERE is a forum page with pics from the pajero site to give you an idea.

Hi,
I drive a Isuzu Dmax which is basically the same as your Colorado. I would suggest taking your vehicle to a Isuzu dealer where they deal with diesels all day long and Isuzu's to boot.
JEM trucks in Bunbury are very good.(Isuzu dealers)
