Depends on what sort of a "PET"it is.

An 18yr old back packer would be OK but a dog or a cat may not be LOL
Google" pets in campsites" and see what you get There are sites that wlll help.

Hi Lucyb,

Get hold of one of the Guides to Free Campsites such as Camps 5 (have a look in the shop on this site) and they will tell you what you want to know.

When travelling with pets, especially a dog, be very careful that they don't pick up a bait (for foxes etc).

Cheers,

Val

No problem in campsites on the WA side and thro' to Alice Springs. We did the Outback Highway from Kalgoorlie to Alice early July this year with our dog. There is no 'paystation' entering Uluru from the west and we went straight thro' the national park as we had visited previously. Don''t know what the situation would be entering from Alice Springs.
