Thanks for all the tips from the thread.(80888) Trip went very
well although as we knew would be the case "too short" but all we had time for.
Stayed at Sturt Caravan
Park,
Coober Pedy day 1 lots of space and clean,$52 for 2A 3C,
Erldunda CV
park day 2 Clean lawned Recommend $50. Straight past
Curtin Springs and onto
Yulara CV
park 3 nights and glad we did. Definitely recommend. Clean lots of site space and quiet (no noisy bus loads of tourists). For us close to the action walked
the rock circuit (climb closed 36c) then olgas (37c). Off to Kings Canyon stopped for a look at
Kings Creek Station, camel rides for kids etc.... stayed at Kings Canyon resort $50 Open clean, not much at
Kings Creek station for us. Recommend canyon
rim walk. Returned home safe. All good. Fuel at
Yulara was cheaper than quite a few stops.
Supermarket same prices as our home
supermarket. Yes restaurants were pricey same as home though. We lashed out one night. We are not CV
park people and would rather find a secluded spot any time but for this trip we were pleased with all parks we stayed especially
Yulara.
thanks for all your tips. jl
