Hi All
Currently in Port Hedland before flying back home for Dad's 80th Birthday Bash.
Looking for options for safe storage of our van while we are on the east coast for two weeks.
Does anyone have any suggestions/experience with using such in this area.
Would appreciate any assistance.
Many thanks
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
where are you staying with the van at the moment? With space in Hedland being a premium, your current can park is probably your best bet.

The golf club might also be worth a call. They operate an overflow facility when the van parks are full

I know there are new owners at Black Rock Caravan Park and they might be happy to store your van.

Good luck with it all

Dan

Hi BCA,
If you take a drive around "Wedgefield" industrial area i'm sure you will find somebody that will mind the van. Amber fluid is normaly the currency. I work for one of the companys up hear assembling new plant for BHP and we utilize the local buisnesses all the time to store cranes, containers, workers cars, boats etc.

Glad to see there are new owners at Black Rock.

We stayed there last year because was only place that had vacancies.

Easy to see why, was dirty, dusty, poorly run and only 28 sites for vans as rest were permanents.

Office was hardly ever attended and the friends who stayed after us reckoned the surfie boy in the office just thought up a price as 3 seperate lots on the same night paid 3 different site fees, all were 2 persons.

Frequently there was a notice on door.

Pull in pay in morning.

Most got up early and didnt read the last bit ROFL

The mirrors in the amenities had more spots than a 14 year old with bad acne.

Sincerely hope it has improved but after what we saw would be reluctant to leave a good van there unattended for too long.
