I have a Navman S30 GPS which I am looking to up grade.
Have been looking at Navman My75T and using TrackRanger GPS mapping Software on my laptop.
Does anyone have any suggestions and am I heading down the right track with this gear, as I am on a steep learning curve. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Ralph,
You have the same as I have ie Track
Ranger and I bought the BU-353 mouse reciever which is magnetic. It is very quick to download sat. info. It was not expensive.
If you want any info email me.
Ian

Its quite a different senario to move from a dash mounted GPS in your line of sight to a laptop based system Ralph , so you have to be sure of your requirements.
Personnaly while I have a laptop,GPS mouse and Ozi-explorer software I find it to cumbersome to use on the go - its more the sort of thing I when when stopped of for browsing maps.
My Garmin 276c GPS still does things the map based laptop can't , so I use it most of the time.
