Got a mate who has a 03 Patrol 3 litre,he was saying he was quoted $600 each for a new injector by Nissan. Does any one know where you can buy cheaper ones or is it a lot cheaper to get his old ones serviced if possible. Cars running o.k. but will need to do something soon, cheers.

Dino
Give
United Fuel Injector in Redcliff a call they may be able to advise.

Is that 3 litre a common rail turbo diesel. If it is then that is probably right. The newer motors are around a $1000 each. Cant be serviced or reconditioned either.

Normal mechanical injectors are serviceable, and repairable for around $200 each at most. Common rail injectors are not and are $600 + each

The early 3.0(non common rail) are not servicable either.
I would suggest speaking to Nissbits on patrol 4x4
forum.

The ZD30 injectors are electronic & computer controlled , not mechanical.
