Waroona or Harvey Dam for camping?

Hi All,
Gloria and I would like to go
camping tomorrow (Friday) for two nights. We were thinking of
Waroona Dam or somewhere near there. We are taking our dog with us and would like to do some fishing.
Has anyone been to either Waroona or Harvey Dams recently? Any advice tips. Is it dog friendly? Where's the best fishing? We would also cosider areas near here but prefer somewhere in mobile range (Telstra Next g) - I know that sounds sad but I am expecting a call!!!
Would really appreciate any advice from other campers!!!

My wife and i are heading down there in a few weeks with our van and are staying at the caravan
park at lake navarino.I know for a fact you can have dogs there as i asked so our pooch can come.Not so sure on mobile reception tho maybe a call to them will help you.
