Hi Folks.
Don't want to start a huge fight here but I was just wondering what is the recommended oils in Oz now.
Back when I was farming 30 years ago the standard was Shell Rimula X which I see is still around.
Over in the USA most new cars and trucks are specing out Synthetic oils which are about 50% more expensive.
As we are planning on moving back to Oz (
Childers) next year I was thinking about throwing a couple of drums in the container.
Oil and oil changes are so expensive in Oz. Over in San Diego I get my oil changed, new filter and new air filter done at the Ford dealer for $40.00 on my F350.

G'day Bruce. Looks like you are going to have to adjust to Aussie prices pretty quickly. Just the oil alone would be at around $100 for your vehicle and we are on parity with the US$ at the moment. Regards,Bob
