hey guys
I have a 15 amp projecta muti stage battery charger is it OK to hook up two wet cell batteries to keep them charged in float mode or is this expecting to much for this charger? Both batteries are fully charged. Have asked projecta direct but they where none commited.

Al,
It is not ideal but should work fine.

Back when I only had 1 battery charger I used to do this regularly when I was away and not using things with batteries in (tractor, mower, car etc). Provided the batteries are in good condition it seems to work fine.

Hi Al

No problem, as far as the charger is concerned it is just a bigger battery.
A 15amp charger can cope with up to 300amphr battery capacity with no problems
