Im planning a trip to WA over the Christmas break, and last night i was looking on Google Earth and spotted a track that runs along the
cliff tops of the
Great Australian Bight. Has anyone driven along this
cliff top track? If you have whats it like, did you have any dramas etc etc?

If you mean on top of Baxters Cliffs from Baxter's
memorial west to the jump-up then its a relative easy run with spectacular
views in a coulpe of
places of the coastal cliffs. Last time I traversed the track was at the christmas period at the change of the century. Also had spectacular weather.

Yes mate, the track i spotted started opposite the Nullarbor Roadhose and headed south to the cliffs then followed the cliffs for some distance.

Well you're not near Baxter's Cliffs then as they are further west and start basically south from Cocklebiddy and stretch west for about 100ks.

Ron Moon has a publication that includes that track IIRC, I have it at home (where I'm not at the moment) so if you Google Moon publications (I think) you should find it, or check the
shop here. Has track conditions and
campsite info.
