The route planner in Places has calculated I am going to travel 1380.49km from Chinchilla to Silverton :)

I may return home via that route but I may come down from Eulo/ Hungerford so we can camp in Currawinya National Park on the way there :)

See you there

Cheers Kev

G'day Dave

I'm fairly close cos the route planner reckons I'm only 1054.77 k's from Silverton so I'll have to hope the winner comes from a bit further away. Got the horseshoes out and will respray them before the gathering.

We'll be going home via Port Germein and the Flinders / Innamincka next year.

Cheers

It will be interesting to get the total Km's for everybody coming, it might be the equivalent to 20 trips around the big block.

Hi Dave,

At this stage Bne - Cairns - Silverton: 3,947.59km. Not fully confirmed yet but does this count?

Gee John, your guide dogs are guiding you the wrong way if you are going to Cairns first. Turn left out of your driveway not right.

Unfortunately for you it won't count if you go via the scenic route, however, the prizes will be calculated by putting in your suburb or town as the start point and Silverton NSW as the destination.
That's the figure that counts. So you could still win something that way.

Hi Dave,

It is 1159.42 kms for us from Kings Point NSW however we are planning to leave home in early May and to eventually reach to Silverton on our way home in September.

Thinking of heading to SA and up the Red Centre then to Darwin and afterwards west to the northern part of WA before returning via western Qld and hopefully into NSW via the corner country if the weather is kind.

We will travel many thousands of kms before we reach the gathering in September if this all goes ahead. Can we add these kms??? LOL

Looking forward to meeting other EO members at our first gathering.

Regards,

Heather
