Hi, I just purchased a van with a gas bayonet fitted to the side, I have been told that my coleman cooker will not work because the bayonet is coming off the regulater. Can I do anything to the stove or do I have to purchase one to suit. Thanks

I think they are designed to run at the full cylinder pressure so it'd probably be cheaper to buy one that runs off the regulated supply rather than trying to convert the burners etc.

Had the same problem, a gas fitter/ plumber charged me $120.00 to change it by running two lines. I supplied everything.
Got the paperwork to cover me with insurance so all good.
cheers Shane.

I have been down this track recently. Unfortunately Coleman have their own gas threads and there are no adaptors that will fit them. You can't get an adaptor made up either. We have to just use one of the tanks on the van directly. I believe Gasmate and others also have proprietry threads on their equipment. If anyone has an answer to this, I would very much like to know also.
Regards
Chris
