Hi, has anyone been to the Miami Holiday
Park in Mandurah as I am keen to get some feedback on the
Park?
Thanks

You'd want to be very desperate. Stayed there last year as it was the closest to our friend's home. The
park is mostly on site vans etc, the few traveller's sites that are available are way down the back and , strangely, the amenities are way up the front in the middle of the permanents. You have to track your way up between the permanents to get to the facilities.
Not a happy
park as there was some row going on about shifting out some long term permanents and building units. The managers at the time, were not too enthusiastic either. Things might have changed, but they would have to change a lot.

Thanks Echucabarry, I will avoid the
park like the plague! Any place you would recommend in Mandurah?
Thanks DocD3

Sorry Doc, can't help you there. From memory, there weren't too many in Mandurah at all, you may have to look at a township just north, south or east of Mandurah. I can recommend the Canal Cruise in Mandurah though.

Many thanks, maybe I should try further south - Bunbury?

Google 'Badgers Caravan
Park Report'.
There are 4 in Mandurah and the Mandurah Tourist
Park gets very good recommendations.

Doc, don't try further south, there are a few alternative parks in Mandurah.
Google "Mandurah caravan parks" and you'll get a good selection.
Pick a couple and ask the question again.
Is there a reason you wanted to be in Miami (apart from being next door to Miami Bakehouse)?

Doc,
here's a link to a Blog by some friends of
mine:
Dave & Shell's Blog
Scroll down a bit and they mention the Mandurah Tourist
Park (the one mentioned in another post in this Thread). They were there for a while and seemed to like it. Anyway, have a read. I visited them there and it seemed quite clean and tidy.
There's a lot more to do in Mandurah than Bunbury (OK, I'm biased, but it's true).

Hi, DocD3
We stayed at the Mandurah Caravan
Park on
Pinjarra Road, It's about 7km from the centre of Mandurah, but is quite close to a large shopping complex.
Quite a few permanents there, but it is a very clean, tidy and
well run
park.
Owners and staff were extremely helpful and courteous .
Our site was approx 50 metres from the facilities as were most of the non permanent sites.
I would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
Hope this helps,
Cheers, DS
