Mate sounds like you need to put in a heavy duty oil seal!!!

marlin crawler heavy duty seal!!!!

the only problem is it is going to cost 33 dollars to send it from the states.

or you can try the local engineering supplies mob to see if they have a H D on that will do the job!

the other option is that i purchase it for you as i need some stuff from marlin crawler and you slip me some dollars towards postage!

give us a yell either way!!!

i'll be putting my oreder in, in the next couple of weeks?

oil wise, PENRITE PENRITE PENRITE is for me.

Hi Barry,

It may also be worth checking the breathers on these drive units, as blocked breathers will cause seal leaks.

Particularly a problem if you've had extended breathers installed and a breather line has been kinked while installing (over tightened nylon tie) or in operation.

If you go down the path of special seals do a double check of seal lip tension on the shaft prior to installation, sometimes the special seals really aren't that 'special'.

Hope this of interest.

Rob.
