Hi all
The wife and I have decided to purchase our next vehicle hopefully before Christmas, or just after. We are looking at between $20k - $35K for a good second hand vehicle. Trying to runa new vehicle in on our roads would be ridiculous.
We are hoping that there may be someone travelling from the Eastern States who may be willing to bring a vehicle over with them, as we can find nothing suitable in WA. We are looking at either a Toyota trayback or (shock horror) a Nissan trayback turbo, and the vehicle MUST be diesel.
I will be posting a thread again closer to the time that we decide tro buy, but I hope someone would be willing to think about this.
Cheers

Morning Marc,
Have you looked at Pickles Auctions on the net. They have an auction every month on a Thursday here in
Darwin. Most of the 4wd's come fully equipped with ARB gear and go for prices in your range.

Hi Noel
Thankyou verey much for that information. I have googled Pickles Auctions and have not found them yet, but I will find them. Hopefully they will have some dual
tank diesels available.
I did forget to state that I would be paying the fuel for bringing a vehicle this way, and probably meet someone half way with food and accomodation, as it would still work out better than freighting it. Yes I am trying to save a few dollars, but who wouldn't.
Cheers

Any of the auctions could be a hassle as it will be unregistered.
As for the shock horror of a nissan the 4.2 diesels are bulletproof and the 3.0l seem to be proving themselves so im not sure what the problem is.
Cheers.

Hi Nutta
Have to agree with you about the 4.2 diesel, as I am currentrly using a Nissan 4.2 hire car until I can get another vehicle, the gearbox is a bit strange in reverse, and the steering needs adjusting, but otherwise a fairly good vehcile.
