Hi All,

We have had our Windsor for 12 months and it is time to do some traveling which has meant installing the house battery. Went to install it on the weekend and ended up a little confused.

It has a Wialki 1214 which I understand is a very basic charge/power system.

It pretty much runs has an output that connects to the 12V house circuit and also the battery. I have had a go at mapping the circuit. Could someone have a look and advise if you see any issues.

- circuit diagram

My immediate concern was that the battery will be on constant charge and no obvious way to balance the load (not sure of the right language).

The other question I had was about the orange cable that goes nowhere. It currently hangs out of the wall just above the battery and reappears with an in-line fuse in the fuse box. I suspect this should be for the fridge and should run to the +ive swith circuit.

1) is the circuit sound?
2) do I need to look at a new charger/power source?
3) does the fridge bit make sense?

I mapped the way it came from the dealer as well but I'm confident that it is not the way it is supposed to be. Just luck I don't have an anderson plug on the tug just yet. Is also coming before the trip.

Also added some other pics that might help.
- battery box
- fuse box
And a piccie of the wiring as it came from the dealer
- wiring as it came

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Paul

This is quite hard to follow but I think someone has converted the van to work off 240V without a battery.

You now need to undo this and you will need to test each circuit as well as perhaps replace the 12V 14A transformer with a battery charger.

If you are not up to this task I recommend taking the van to a suitable repair center for the upgrade.

Yes Orange is for the fridge that is if you wan't to run it from the tug while driving. Soon flatten your battery if the engine is not running.

Cheers.
