We are living in Heyfield near Sale and Traralgon in Victoria and have a small compressor that is having a few problems after the move down here.

It was purchased from a company in Queensland so I do not want to send it all the way back there to be repaired.

All that is happening is the pressure release valve is cutting in and dumping some of the pressure before the compressor cut off switch cuts the pump off. So it is dumping pressure while it is still trying to fill the tank.

Does anyone have any suggestions who may be able to have a look at it in this area ?

We head to Melbourne every few weeks so somewhere on the easter side of melbourne would be OK.

Would that be an air compressor, airconditioning compressor, fridge compressor, heat compressor, PC file compressor or pillow compressor?

Sound like the pressure cut out switch is'nt working and the relieve valve is blowing off, What pressure is the gauge showing.

About 75 psi but the gauge could be in need of work as well

Maybe the valve is just doing what it is intended to do, might pay to check the gauge first?
