Hello all. I have a HJ47 landcruiser. I have converted the back brakes to HJ75 brakes so the handbrake is in the back
wheels and not on the transfer case.
The problem i have is the self adjuster adjusts up too far and causes the brakes to drag enought for the drums to get pretty hot, too hot to touch.
Does anyone here know what might be wrong? Thanks, Alec

Alec,
I had the same problem with my 89 troopy and to fix it I pulled the sef adjusters out and threw them away.
That was 5 yrs ago and I have no problems adjusting the brakes manually.
Have a good one.

Seem to remember Roothy from 4wd monthly/action converting his brakes on that
Milo truck of his many moons ago in the magazine and having some handbrake issues which they modified. (no i dont mean his wife!)
Might be worth looking up on their website......
