Ebay 130W solar
I,m looking to get solar for my rv unit the above system seems like it will provide more than enough power to run the freezer,TV ,lights, charge the phone,& computer... we will have a 2000w gen as
well to run the a/c .The rv is a Ford Courier Maxi and a 12ft van and is for made road touring not rough off road work.
I would appreciate comments about the quality of this panel/batty from any who have this particular unit or any recommendations about other units
forum members use. Thanks Peter

I'd at least being asking more questions about the battery as it is not detailed in the listing. It is also listed as a GEL battery whereas they sell AGM elsewhere. I would personally ask for the specs on the battery (charging, terminal arrangements etc) as it seems to be a common request. ;)
Having battery terminals down the one end may not be the best arrangement in all situations. You may need to consider that if you haven't already.
Hope that helps,
Andrew

I think the bundle is reasonable, the photo shows an AGM battery, the description says GEL, they are obviously an Asian Wholesaler in
Melbourne (The grammar in the Ebay ad is not too good). No mention of warranty? The spec to me reads
well, I am not a Solar expert but the 200AH battery is big enough to do your job and 130 Watts whould keep the battery charged. Offer them $900 if you are happy with the warranty, call them perhaps.?

The price seems good but a comparison to other sellers might benefit you ...
I also cannot see how shipping costs to
Perth would be only $68 for a kit and a 200 aH Battery ?? How heavy is the battery - 40-50 Kgs ? ...
Cheers
Steve
