A Mate has a 2005 TI Patrol with a dodgy fuel gauge, (Apparently Very Common) Nissan want just over $2000 for a new wiring loom to "possibly fix problem".
Problem is constantly reading incorrect fuel level - and having to rely on having sub tank full for regular out of fuel situations.
Does anyone have a solution ???
Thank-you
Brian

Check here www.patrol4x4.com about fitting extra earth straps, usually fixes the problem. Are they stanard fuel tanks or after market?

how about buying a scan gauge near to $200 will give you fuel readings and about 20 other gauges including a display of error codes .
