Hi,
Got a Navman MY75T on the weekend and was wondering if anyone has successfully unlocked the operating system on one of these?
I'd like to run Oziexplorer on it as well as the navman stuff. It appears it can be done on earlier models.
I have downloaded the MioPocket software which should be able to do it and have been unsucessful so far in getting it to load.

Thoughts?

Nick

I did it with my MY55T and don't see why it won't work with the 75T

I thnk I read your thread before posting, it got me started....

On your microSD card what directory name did you have for those files that needed to be renamed?

I get the impression that if you rename a couple of files and put them in the correct directory name it should autoload, whould this be right?
I think it is that directory name I haven't got right at the moment.

I was going to run it from the microSD first before venturing further and loading it on the flash memory of the navman....

Thanks,

Nick

yeah, i have a new screen name for the moment, got sick of the old one...

Nick,

Sorry about the late reply I was away. Do you still need help with this? if so let me know and I can have a look at my unit tonight as I can't remember what I did.

I run everything from the SD card that way I can just boot like normal if I need to

Troll 81,
I'd really appreciate it if you could have a look. I think the directory i am placing the miopocket in is wrong.

I'd plan to do the same thing at least to start with until I am comfortable with it.

Thanks,
Nick
