Hi All
I am still receiving MM regarding the most unreal display of coloured Sturt Desert Pea at Roxby Downs. Last night on the Channel 10 News, they had a small news segment about the flowers and here is a link to that story.

We still have not had any real hot weather here in SA as yet, with only a few days of only 30C and today a perfect 24C. The story states that when the hot weather does arrive, it could only be as quick as 2 weeks and the flowers will wither and die off.

If you are still thinking, then you better head off as soon as possible and while in the area head up and take a ferry ride over the Cooper Creek before that is also put back onto its blocks until the next flood.

Cheers and have a great weekend.

Stephen

Hi Jeff
You should be in for a great time. I had my last visit from an EO Visitor only this Wednesday who was heading up for a ride on Ferry as well, as he said that when it next runs, he will be too old to travel up and see it.

My contact is away sick at the moment, so I am unable to get the latest Ferry figures, so when they come through, I will put them up on the forum.

Have a great ride and have a safe trip.

Cheers

Stephen

We have just been debating which way to go Stephen.

Hot weather on the way and so we will head for Roxby first before the display gets burnt up.
Then we will head for the ferry after that.

Leaving tomorrow morning yeehaa.

Hi Dave and Nora
You should be in for a great weekend with the weather expected to warm up by about Tuesday. Which ever way you go, the countryside will still be looking a million dollars and the Sturt Desert Pea still in full bloom.

Have a great time and don't forget those special pieces of paper for Roxby.

All the Best.

Regards

Stephen
