We are not long home from the Lake Boondooma Gathering and a great time was had :)

We had rain for most of the day yesterday but we still managed to do bugger all and had a relaxing time.

It was good to finally meet a few more EO members and chat around the camp fire both Friday and Saturday nights.

Attendee's included -

Bruce and Annie, Chas and Gerard, Ray and Lorraine, Terry and Lorraine, David and Eileen, Wim and Judy, Mike, as well as Me and my crew of Sam, Ash and Peta.

Ray and Lorraine's son turned up Saturday as well for an overnight visit and friends of Bruce and Annie, David and Tracy visited on Saturday with their boat. The boat came to the rescue of the (not so) seasoned crustacean fisherman Bruce, who forgot to tie the line to the Yabbie pots before throwing them in hehehehehe

We discussed other likely spots to visit in the next 12 months or so and apart from returning to Lake Boondooma, we thought we would try Leslie Dam (near Warwick), and also Lake Borumba near Imbil.
With some luck and Irish courage Terry and Lorraine were going to head home through the damp roads to Imbil to check the Lake Borumba site out :)

We are looking forward to meeting everyone again at more of these weekend getaways as we can never go camping enough, especially in the rain ;)

Cheers Kev
