Hi
Maybe the easiest way is to create a "dummy" waypoint on the screen.
Press pointer/pen/finger onto the screen and hold until a dialogue box appears – in this box is the option – create Wp (i.e. create waypoint).
Then hold pointer/pen/finger on the newly created waypoint and select Edit and then Edit Position and enter the coordinates you have, overwriting the existing ones. At this point you can (and must) select the position Format that matches the format your coordinates are in. If your co-ords are in UTM you must also select the correct zone.
(Before doing any of this, make sure your display datum matches the datum of the coordinates you are entering - this is done by going into File - Configuration and under General Settings select appropriate datum.)
Once you have created your new waypoint correctly open the waypoint tool bar (View – Toolbars – Waypoint Toolbar) and select the waypoint list (third icon across the top of the waypoint toolbar). All loaded waypoints will be listed. Find your newly created waypoint and highlight it by tapping on it. Then select the Map icon on right of the dialogue box – this will show the waypoint on whatever map you have for that area.
Sounds complicated but once you have done it a few times it is easy.
It is much easier on the PC version …but if that’s not an option no big deal.
Cheers
Greg
PS: Intructions assume you are using V 2.34a of OziCe. Also make sure GPS is turned off when staring the process. Hope I didnt miss anything...:)
