I received an email today with a link to a movie site showing a Japanese conversion machine that turns waste plastic into oil. link
Plastic to oil
Unless you speak Japanese, you need to rely on the sub text.
I think I saw similar items years ago in Mad Max, and Back to The Future , but this one looks promising.
You could use caravan
park power for your daily fuel conversion, clean up Australia, and get a cheaper trip, depending on the machine cost and availability.

I saw one years ago on extracting the oil from waste tyres etc... from each tyre there was literally litres of oil to be extracted.. but it cost too much so the government wouldn't endorse it and it wasn't commercially viable for a private company to do so I guess the tyres are all just chipped and turned into garden ornaments and floor mats.
