recognising a landcruiser diff

hello does anyone know how to tell the difference between a 75 / 100 / 79 /80 series diff centre . i have just purchased a new house and in the shed is was what seem to be landcruiser diff centre , but i cant put it for sale unless i can tell buyers what it is. thanks

Most of the 75 series had a full sized front diff the same as the rear. Some had the high pinion reverse cut centre that the 78, 79, 80 and 105's had. I'm pretty sure the 100 had a different high pinion reverse cut version (the weak ones) The hi cut reverse pinion diffs look like a hilux one.

Thats real lucky, how many new houses do you get that have an old diff in them.....belong to the builder or a tradie..??....

I could understand a complete diff (wheel to wheel) but just a diff centre. Its probably there because its buggered and has been replaced??
