Just thought I might remind anyone travelling in the Bundaberg area that the turtles are nesting at the moment. We took the kids there on the weekend and found it to be a valuable experience for us and the kids, they even got to help moving eggs to a better location. Pouring rain but didn't bother the turtles.

Kids always have a great time and learn so much from the experience at Mon Repos. The Parks staff do a great job there.

Hi Tour Boy, I will be back up there on Australia Day weekend to see the hatchlings emerge from their nest. Might be able catch up and have a beer if you like.

I saw you guys in Miriam Vale yesterday at the servo and on my way back into town I past you as you were just leaving town. I was in the grey dual cab hilux with the white door stickers.
Did you go to Bundy via Gin Gin? it's 50km shorter to go via Rosedale.

No we were headed back to brissie, we were in Bundy on Sat and Sun on our way to Yeppoon via Deepwater National Park, 1770 and Roccy. We had a wedding to attend on Tues so we were just crusing around looking at things I used to drive past when I drove interstate.
