The last time I was on Frazer Island, there was a strange tree in the Rain
Forrest Area in the central part of the Island. A
Ranger told us it was a Dogwood Tree. I had a photograph of it but have mislaid it. Can anyone tell me how to indentily one. Thanks

Hi esarby,
I did a quick Google and came up with the following possibilities for dogwood:
Dogwood Acacia bidwillii PCQ
Dogwood Acacia coriacea FCA
Dogwood Bedfordia salicina NTA
Dogwood Beilschmiedia oligandra NAT
Dogwood Ceratopetalum virchowii ARF
Dogwood Eremophila bignoniiflora PCQ
Dogwood Eremophila longifolia GWT
Dogwood Jacksonia scoparia GWT
Dogwood Pomaderris apetala FGF
Dogwood Pomaderris aspera NTA
The problem with common names is that they vary from place to place and different plants share the same common name.
If you can give a bit of a description that would help.
Cheers,
Val
