Hi there,
Well I am still in the design phase of my camper trailer 12 volt installation. I have asked a few tech heads for their expertise on my install and I thought I would share with you all for any advice or hindsight that you have had since your own install. I have tried to do as much research on the 12 volt subject as possible, then to apply this to my set up for what we want with our camper and what works for us. It's amazing the more you research the more confusing it can get. Currently I think I am at that point. Would appreciate your help on this guys and gals to see if I can correct anything or better anything before I start.
Here is the link for the plans I have designed...

If you haven't done so already I would suggest a search
here - A lot of information specifically for Camper Trailer owners and builders ..
Don't forget about Solar - If you're not putting it in immediately then leave some space for the controller and fuses ..
Cheers

Generally, looks good. I would discard the 50A CB in the line to the vehicle. Circuit breakers (or fuses - much cheaper) should be installed at every energy SOURCE to remove current in the event of a fault. The one in the vehicle line should therefore be up front near the vehicle battery. The one at the trailer battery will protect the vehicle line from the trailer battery.
