Have you made any decision as to what type of chip and exhaust? You might want to let your fingers do the walking a bit first. A search of the previous forum posts would be a good start. Also 4x4 Action magazine had a chip comparison in issue No. 152 a few months ago. Very informative.

Most 4x4 retailers will fit chips and exhausts so you really need to be armed with some desicions around which chip etc.

Try this link;Diesel Chip.

If its a 3.0L I think most recommend a 2.5 in exhaust.

I upgraded mine the easy way. I bought a TD Cruiser LOL

I have no hesitation on recommending Diesel Tech in Lilydale if that's not too far out of the way for you.
Andrew there did a very thorough job on my 2004 3L GU, fitting a DP Chip, 2 3/4"exhaust, and EGT guage. Coincidently the EGR stopped working about the same time.
Testing on his Dyno proved the gains that were subtle under normal driving but obvious when towing.
Prices were in accordance with the work done.

Good advice there re the EGR.

If your EGR was to stop working, I would not investigate the cause.
