short answer- YES, Particularly Minnie
Water and especially new years eve.
Beautiful area tho. We love the Solitary Island Caravan
Park in
wooli. We try to get a spot on the river, We used to row a tinny to the other side to drop our crab pots off, we did very
well too but we usually wait till mid-jan to go to try and escape the crowds.
The area is great for fishing and snorkelling as
well as 4x4 beach driving to the north to a village called Sandon.
The area is very family friendly so expect lots of kids.
You would be sure to enjoy yourself- just dont expect peace and quiet.
