Hi Folks, Seeking a HF aerial bracket that mounts at the rear of the vehicle rather than the bull bar for 200 series. Had a fabricated stainless one on the 80 series that used existing bolts just above tail light height either side. It put the aerial at the right height above the roof line. Made by a bloke in SA and I have lost his contact.
Cheers, Doug S..

There are a couple of very neat designs on LCOOL.
1)The owner removed a rear reflector ( like Kaymar do) and made up a bracket that bolts onto the chassis and comes out where the reflector was.
Check it out there. Brilliant design.
2)Another owner removed the tail light assy on the top tail
gate and replaced it with a HF mount.
Both seem pretty good but may favorite is the first one.
I have a Kaymar bar and had that modified to take an Autotune.

My bracket for the Jackaroo was made by Kryn Buitendyk up in that area - was a good product - far as I know he is not in the game any more - this outfit may be the successor to his enterprise... ?

Have a look in my Profile for some pics I made of one for the 100ser
It fits in between the taillight and the lower tailgate. Is made out of 3 mm steel and holds an auto aerial Ok Think I may still have it if you contact me.
Is same as Maquarie Communications sell for about $159
Cheers.

Graham / Doug
I looked at this option but on a 200 there is not enough room in
the gap between the tailgate and the body for a plate that is thick enough to be strong. Macquarie Comms made originally one but took it off the market for this reason.
Similarly there is not enough room between the spare and the rear door on the kaymar carrier like the other photo in your profile.

Thankyou All for your input. I'll follow up each to see what I can find. Shame if
the gap is too small near the tailgate for a strong enough bracket.
