I was just going over today's totals and gosh how much more can they take. I even checked other weather sites to see if it was an error.

Hi Sharon
This year will have to go down as the craziest year on record. As you know we had all that rain here in many parts of SA the other day and we have not had any rain since,
well not yet.
Today's hot summer temperature for
Adelaide is............20 C, yes have read right.
We are told it will get back to the mid 30's early next week and yes, more rain on its way.
Not reported on any of the news outlets but from local reports, there is now a snake problem in many of the flooded area, as the snakes have been forced from the homes also and are heading for higher ground.
Out with your rubber boots and keep high and dry.
Cheers
Stephen

Yes Steve I cant quite understand why one would want to wade through unless its a last resort. Snakes, lizards not to mention sewage.
Driving through as some still do I just don't understand how do we know the road is still there? I was reading a report on the area from a couple of days ago and the weather forecast was spot on to the inch. You see it on the tv all the time but I still find it unbelievable so much
water in such a huge area.

jdwynn, I was touching wood at the time thinking I hope Murphy doesn't visit too. Since the start of the week they have been forecasting it here (again touching wood) I live about 200k's from Kev will see what happens between now and Sunday. Farmers are out day and night harvesting around here.
Cheers

Coonabarabran has had another 75 ml overnight, up until 9am today, so plenty more to flow down the Castlereagh and head across there yet. Can't remember 2 floods in the same year.
Reckon our 5000ltr
tank has had a good flush.

Fred surprised it didn't float away, the speed of that
water in
places is unreal.

Hi Old Girl,
Was @ a mates place near Eugowra today helping him get stuff up then we are going to clean up tomorrow. Hes place backs onto the
creek so was
well and truly under.
The
water even went thru the windows of the Fat Lamb pub.
Is going to take a bit of cleaning up but I guess we are all alive so that one thing.
Cheers Wilko

Wilko I just saw on the tv where they interviewed a local. Very positive lady saying we've been through it enough times to know what to do.
I wish your friend and the rest of the people either stranded or flooded
well.
