Unfortunately a
young local lad from our area has passed away as a result of being struck in the head by the hook on a tow/snatch rope.

Snatching/towing is no joke and and it must be treated respectfully.
Such a tragic result for this family.
Hopefully we can all avoid this happening to our loved ones if we ever need to do it.
Our thoughts are with this family.

From what I hear one car was winching another and the bolt on the D shackle broke. Sneding the D shackle into the head of the
young boy.

According to the Nine MSN sire the towhook it was attached to came lose and went though the window.
