3 weeks ago I had the
suspension upgraded on the Land cruiser to Oldman Emu 400kg on the rear Nitrocharger sports for the rear and front, oldman emu torsion bars fitted by Recreational Car Accessories at Wyoming - Gosford.
When I picked up the vehicle when the mechanic told me that I will need to get a wheel alignment done. I then had the wheel alignment completed and the vehicle drove and felt great.
I had sent an email to RCA with my concerns on why they didn’t complete the wheel alignment. I posted a
forum question re the wheel alignment for feedback from the 4X4 community. The original Thread ID: 82645
The Manager from RCA has looked and listened to the feedback and has made it policy that they will always do a wheel alignment before a vehicle is given back to the customer after a
suspension upgrade.
He has also given us a gift voucher for our inconvenience and feedback.
The cruiser now drives and tows the caravan 100% better with no sag in the rear
suspension, I now wish I had this done 12 months ago before our big trip to
Darwin.
I have always been happy with the work that RCA have completed on my vehicle, and it is good to see that they have listened to the feedback. I find a number of businesses that just do not acknowledge customers feedback or complaints.

Yeah sounds obvious to me Gadget, The Manager needs to think like a customer and not lile a 4WD mechanic for want of a better phrase. It was like completing 80% of the job. Anyway glad to hear you are now happy, when mods like this are done right they make a huge difference to a vehicle.

Excellent outcome Gadget. Good on you for following up, and good on RCA for not burying their heads in the sand - the type of company most of us like to deal with.

Hope you are using a WDH still as while the back wont go down so far the
front will still rise with the pivotal action of the weight on the towbar.

Hi Graham
Yes I am still using the WDH as we know it makes a difference still to the front end. It will be interesting when I am fully loaded, I will have to take the measurements and fine tune the setup. So fare all looks good
Thanks

Gadget,
Excellent result, I have always found RCA are good listening to feedback.
I know a couple of their employees are members of 4WD Clubs and they open their workshops up to clubs for "tech days" on weekend at no charge.
