Does everything have to have instructions on it these days.

What has happened to common sense and taking responsibility for ones actions.

Next we will have to have ones like this everywhere.

seems like common sense isn't all that common anymore

Agreed Graham,

Common sense was cancelled in 1990 because Poliitcians and Lawers couldn't work with it.

Cheers,

Thanks for the link & maybe a timely warning to us all & in particular to the younger generation of campers etc who may not be as aware of dangers associated with the use of all sorts of cooking/ heating appliances , gas in particular, as maybe some of us who do not know everything about these dangers.
There is nothing better than the sharing of info when it comes to the safety of ourselves & our families. Cheers.

Hi

Could be that printing in English is not enough as some cannot read or

understand English.

If you come to live in an English speaking country perhaps it would be a good idea to learn the language.

I would think if I went to live in a foreign country I would have to learn their language to live there.

Any excuse is better than none I suppose.

There is so many different races here now the warning will be like the Supercheap ad

"Do you want a bag to put the warning in".

Take some responsibilty

Even cows generate methane which a certain coalmine found is sadly fatal.

Hi Graham,
You are very quick to post your replays on any subject including this one but why don't you first consider your replays before submitting it. As you said it you self:

- If you come to live in an English speaking country perhaps it would be a good idea to learn the language. I would think if I went to live in a foreign country I would have to learn their language to live there.

So, as per that statement I would say that the "sign on the urinal" is definitely intended for the English speaking majority
[no point displaying it for poor souls that do not read Engleso] wouldn't you agree????
Safe travels to all and a very happy festive season.......

The sign was intended as a jocular reference to the fact that more and more things are expected to have warnings on them for an increasingly mollycoddled society.

Didnt you see the last comment in the post

(ROFL)

If it was in a foreign country it would have had the sign in their language.

Replay?? I thought I made a reply. Oh well back to school.

Cheers

I'd like to think we were well enough educated that it could be left to common sense. Unfortunately these days you can get through high school with next to no physics, chemistry or biology. It can then be a bit fatal learning about poisoning the hard way.

Bit of a judgement call. In this case I think there may be some need to alert the public of the dangers.

I agree that in general warning signs have gone too far.

Yes we can put warning signs on these sorts of things. However will the warnings be heeded any more than they are for catalytic gas heaters in vans?
