I tow boats up to waddy to fish a bit (
mine's an 18 ft signature on a mackay tandem trailer - just under 2t).
If you have the ramp over and clearance to make it across inskip, onto and off the barge unaided then you're going to be O.K..
If you need a snatch to get to the barge then need to use timbers to 'skid' the van on, then you could be in for some interesting times - esp when the rocks are exposed. Coming into stormy season again now so the likelihood of that is increasing daily.
During summer the sand gets hot and dry (ha ha - most years anyway) and is more difficult to tow in.
The island changes all the time so take it on it's merits and have a changeable plan if it all doesn't work out.
