John,

Thank You for the information.

I was lucky enough to see a partial Luna eclipse last June at Rabbit Flat. We were sitting around the camp fire when we noticed that part of the full moon was missing.

Us, in Australia, won't see much of this eclipse.

If you are in Adelaide or Perth, you won't see any of it.

The moon will be in eclipse, as it rises here.

If you are in the Eastern states, you may see the end of the partial eclipse just as the moon rises on the horizon.

useless information,
did you know that the moon has moved 1 mtr away from earth since N. Armstrong walked on the moon, it is moving AWAY from the earth at 40cm per yr, so in another trillion billion years it will be to small to cover the earth when viewing it !!!!
Just some more useless info, much like our Qld government spin really LOL

That's because of the size of the alien base on the dark side of the moon.

It's causing it to drift away from the Earth.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy
