Hi there Herkman, Recherche is a place on the south east coast of Tasmania, about 20 minutes south of Southport.

Herkman

The national Gazetteer of Australia (available on the Geoscience Australia website - see link) is always a good starting point for place names.

Cheers

Typing recherche into that website gives you this page ==> http://www.ga.gov.au/bin/gazd01?rec=224795

Using the Places feature on this website yield Recherche Bay as a near point AFAIK....the rest of the searching will have to be done by you ;)

Hope that helps,
Andrew
