Rubbish Bags for my spare wheels. Any suggestions ?

My two Michelles Sacs bags finally rotted away after four years permanently on my van spares. I found that these always slipped off without extra ropes, because they were "one size fits all tyres" and were too small for my 100 Cruiser tyres.

I am looking for extra tough heavy duty CANVAS replacements (not nylon) which sit on the tyre and never move on corrugations.

I remember there was a guy who used to do the 4wd shows and he made one that was wide enough to take a couple of folded directors chairs. Does anybody remember who this was, or have any suggestions re other canvas brands ?

Thanks a lot,

Willie.

All the best for the festive season Willie,

Have a look at these from Klaus at Infront camping gear. Don't let the name put you off lol.

Infront Rubbish bag

They are modeled on the bags I had him custom make for me.Mine are still going strong after 3 years of being flogged all over the place.

Cheers Mick
